It depends on the vehicle and how much gas the system takes – and whether there’s a leak causing the loss. We check first and confirm the price with you before starting.
Do you find the leak or just refill the gas?
We look for the leak. Refilling a leaking system means you’ll be back in a few weeks. If we find a leak we’ll show you where it is and what the repair involves.
How long does a repair take?
Gas recharges, drain-line clearing and filter changes are usually same-day. Compressor or condenser replacement depends on parts availability — we’ll tell you the timeline before you commit.
Why does my AC smell bad?
Damp in the evaporator or a dirty cabin filter allows mould and bacteria to grow. Cleaning and treating the system usually clears it.
There's water on my passenger floor mat. Is that the AC?
Almost always a blocked condensate drain line. Water that should drain under the car backs up into the cabin instead. It’s a quick fix once identified.
